MIRA RACE CLASSES<\/h2>

Diesel Freak Junior F-500:<\/strong> junior racing begins at age 13 with parent or guardian permission. The F-500 machines are the same as the adult F-500 class.<\/h5>
Diesel Freak Junior 340 Fan:<\/strong> designed to let young drivers get a feel for ice oval racing. These sleds follow F440 Fan Rules.<\/h5>

Champ 440:<\/strong> is an open class, 440 cc engine limit. Sleds are the fastest of the races you will see for the weekend. These vehicles feature new technology with few restrictions. Engine and chassis are both highly specialized and technical. The Champ sleds are low and fast and require the best sprint drivers to handle them.<\/h5>
Single mod\/300 mod\/ 340 super stock:<\/strong> a selection of small bore engines in vintage sleds. Driver can choose to use a modified 300 or a super stock 340 which allows for minor modifications.<\/h5>
Master F-500:<\/strong> this class is for age 50 years and older using the F-500 machine.<\/h5>
600 Sportsman SP600:<\/strong> is a class that allows 1983-to-2000-year production machines to compete. These sleds can have certain modifications like aftermarket exhaust, but engines remain stock based.<\/h5>
440 super stock:<\/strong> Vintage sleds built before 1985. Trail sleds with minor modifications to get power to the track. A wide variety of sleds from many manufactures who produced sleds at the time make this a fun class to race in and watch.<\/h5>
F-500\/550 super stock \/340 mod stock:<\/strong> is sleds 1974 and older, many are original race sleds with some minor modifications. The rules limit what can be done to these sleds to keep them more original that other mod classes. Super mod is an original race sled with more modifications allowed.<\/h5>
440 Super Mod:<\/strong> are original race sleds 1985 and older, leaf spring front ends. There are modifications that can be made to the engine and suspension. These sleds are fast.<\/h5>
250lc\/300fa\/340 fan:<\/strong> some of these sleds like the 250cc liquid cooled sleds were designed for racing. Independent front suspensions made these the class of the field years ago. 300 and 340 cc sleds were added to this class as super stocks to get a variety of machines on the track.<\/h5>
F-3:<\/strong> is a new class created in 2019. These are factory stock engines with certain chassis and suspension modifications allowed but the engine, intake and exhaust pipe must remain stock. There is a very strict set of rules for these builders to follow. 2022 the F-3 sleds will be the Eagle River Derby premier class. These sleds must be 2017 or newer to compete. This is a premier class and very fast even with stock engines.<\/h5>
600 IFS OPEN:<\/strong> this class compares to an outlaw class; run what you brung. Drivers will be on champ 440's and pro enduro sleds plus older 600 enduro sleds. This allow all the high horsepower sleds to square off against each other and this class often has the most entries of the weekend.<\/h5>
F500\/500SS:<\/strong> mini enduro us a 15 lap. rolling start race to allow driver to gain experience for the journey to Pro Enduro.<\/h5>
600 Sportsmen Enduro:<\/strong> is a rolling start event tor 15 laps. SP600 is a class that allows 1983-to-2000-year production machines to compete. These sleds can have certain modifications like aftermarket exhaust, but engines remain stock based.<\/h5>
Semi Pro Mini Enduro:<\/strong> allows any 600cc enduro sled, can be stock, or the new style Pro Enduro sleds. New for 2022; NO Gen 2 style sleds, these are the Pro Mod Enduro sleds with NO 10 year rule. This class is restricted to driver who have run less than 3 Pro Enduro and designed as a steppingstone class to gain experience to move up to the Pro Enduro event. Race will be 25 laps.<\/h5>
Mod 600:<\/strong> are older Pro Enduro sleds, this class was designed to get the older enduro sleds a place to race. These sleds will be modified engines and chassis and will be very fast. Race will be 20 laps.<\/h5>
