Gaylord Area Convention and Tourism Bureau partners with MIRA
Gaylord Michigan has long been known as a 4 seasons destination with visitors coming from far and near. Abundant snow falls transforms Gaylord into the ultimate winter playground and the center on Lower Peninsula snowmobiling.
MIRA has aspired to produce a Pro Enduro and Sprint race for years and last winter it finally happened. The community of Gaylord welcomed this professional snowmobile race, and it was a huge success.
Companies like Dubie welding, Extreme Power Sports, Johnson Oil and others, lead the way with assistance from the Gaylord Area Convention and Tourism Bureau.
Thanks to the all the groups that help bring MIRA back to Gaylord for this winter. The race is scheduled for Jan. 29 and 30, 2022.
It’s the hard work from organizations like the Convention and Tourism Bureau that make a dynamic community.

The Midwest International Racing Association Partners with O’Reilly Auto Parts for the 2022 race season!
O’Reilly Auto Parts was founded in 1957 in Springfield, Missouri, with a single store and currently has 5,710 within the United State and 22 in Mexico. O’Reilly is a supporter of all types of motorsports and has added snowmobile racing to the list with their entry into the world of Pro Enduro and Ice Oval racing. The Midwest International Racing Association (MIRA) is excited to consider O’Reilly a marketing partner for 2022 and looks forward to a long relationship with this auto parts leader. O’Reilly has locations at, or near, all of the MIRA scheduled events including Eagle River, Wisconsin. With 186 stores in Michigan, all the MIRA teams will be able to support this new partner. CountrySide Transportation Service Partners With MIRA

Countryside Sales & Service of Sebewaing Michigan and the Mid-west International race Association are excited to announce a new partnership for the 2022 Pro Enduro race season. Countryside will become the “Series” sponsor for MIRA for the 2022 race events.
Joel Fiebig and Stephanie Long, leaders of their family owned company has been involved in snowmobile racing for many years and supports the #28 Polaris team and now is expanding their support the entire MIRA organization.

MIDWEST INTERNATIONAL RACING ASSCOIATION PARTNERS WITH FloSports

MIRA will have the distinct honor of partnering with FloSports for all 4 of our races in 2022 starting in Eagle River, WI at the Eagle River World Championship Jan 15-16, then to Gaylord, MI for the Extreme Powersports 250 Jan 29-30, next to Kinross, MI for the EUP Merchants 250 Feb 12-13, and then to Lincoln, MI and the best spectator track in the world for the FireRite 250 Feb 19-20.
MIRA will bring two spectacular programs together, enduro and sprint ice oval racing and world class broadcasting and streaming coverage by FloSports.
Having FloSports streaming all 4 MIRA races is an opportunity for winter sports enthusiasts and race fans to experience all the excitement high octane snowmobile endurance and sprint racing has to offer. FloSports provides min. by min. coverage of high-speed snowmobile racing. In addition to streaming all the MIRA races, FloSports will also provide streaming coverage of the Soo I-500 snowmobile endurance race.
2022 marks the first time MIRA racing organization and SOO International 500 has ever had the honor of hosting races covered by FloSports.

MIRA is very pleased to announce that the Gaylord Tourism Bureau will once again be a sponsor of our race in Gaylord the; Extreme Powersports 250 to be help Jan. 23 and 24 in Gaylord Michigan. This partnership with the Tourism folks in Gaylord has been an effort to promote the Lower Michigan hot bed of snowmobiling and now ice oval racing. MIRA will be at a new location this year on Johnson Road, just off the south Gaylord exit on I-75. Thanks to our title sponsor; Extreme Powersports and the efforts of Dubie Welding on building the track. Johnson Oil has also joined our support team in Gaylord. Stay tuned to the MIRA Facebook page for updates about the event. Should the weather not cooperate, the backup date is Jan. 30-31. MIRA has formed a partnership with Gaylord Michigan based Dubie Welding a custom welding/fabrication shop and the manufactures of Dubie Snow Groomers. Owners; Mark, David and Andy have agreed to build the Gaylord race track at its new location along I-75 at the south Gaylord exit. Dubie Welding is an advance fabrication shop offering CAD design and state of the art welding processes. The guys also are performance experts and take on all kinds for special projects. The entire MIRA organization would like to welcome this dynamic company to the race family and look forward to many years of working together. Andy Dubie and his team plan to start driving frost just as soon as weather permits.

The eagle river derby complex and MIRA are excited to announce the first running of the pro Enduro World Championship event. The race weekend of Jan. 16 and 17 will have the derby complex hosting pro enduro teams on the famous ice oval. Sleds will qualify Saturday evening and then race the 100 lap pro enduro Sunday the 17th at 3pm. MIRA has raced at the derby complex the past 2 winters but now is included in the world championship weekend and is very excited about being a part of this history making event. This will be a MIRA points race so expect to see all the pro teams competing. Craig Marchbank from the derby Complex and Karl Schwartz President of MIRA have been working all summer to put this race together and are looking forward to a great event.

MIRA is excited to announce the addition for Extreme Power Sports in Gaylord Michigan to the MIRA family of marketing partners. Extreme Power Sports has become the title sponsor for the MIRA event on Jan. 23/24, 2021. The “Extreme Power Sports 250” will be the 3rd race of the season for MIRA and the first race at the new race track location. Thanks to Chris Markovich and his team for the support!
